Job Summary
Machine Operator Lead is responsible for overseeing the production process as well as help to keep the department flowing and continue to maintain quality to a high standard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help get department ready to start
- Help take attendance of employees
- Assists in the training of employees
- Help monitor employees on the line for job performance based on individual tasks
- Help supervisor on meeting the orders and deadlines
- Take a proactive role in assuring safe and quality products are produced by immediately informing supervisor of any safety or quality concerns.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
FOOD SAFETY:
Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns and this position serves as the back-up for QA Supervisor position.
