Local Property Management office seeking a full-time Accounting/Administrative Assistant. The Accounting/Admin Assistant will be responsible for providing both administrative and accounting support assisting with various accounting and property management tasks.
Must have excellent attention to detail along with strong verbal and written communication skills, have proficient computer skills and in addition be able to manage various workloads throughout the day.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: A/R; A/P, filing, preparing statements, preparing bank deposits, entering financial transactions, maintaining digital and paper documents, assisting owners/tenants & vendors, conducting follow-up and move out inspections, preparing notices, etc.
Requirements/Skills
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good Math Skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
Strong Attention to Detail.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Experience with file management and record keeping
Excellent organization Skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent customer service
Ability to multitask
Front desk or administrative experience is a plus
Ability/Flexability to work independently as well as part of a team
Conduct all business in accordance with current policies & procedures, Fair housing, Americans with disabilities act and all other Federal and State Laws
Ability to drive personal vehicle to and from various property locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
