Position Summary:
The Summer 2024 Intern will gain experience with our team from May/June to August. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and be enrolled in a program that is applicable for an internship. Our internship will provide an opportunity for students to gain practical and hands-on experience in their field. The internship can be tailored to meet the needs and interests of students and their careers.

- Achieves understanding of the overall concept of the club, including the brand, customer, department goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Collaborates with assigned department heads and team members to ensure club operations meet the membership service expectations and provides ideas to grow and improve operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engages with team members on daily functions to ensure club expectations are met and assist in delivering “wow” moments for the members and guests.
- Shadows department supervisors to learn all aspects of country club procedures.
- Collaborates effectively with peer managers to ensure an outstanding member and guest experience.
- Assists with other Clubhouse and campus operational needs as scheduled by the Department Director/Department Supervisor as appropriate.
- Attends assigned meetings as assigned by the department head/supervisor.
- Other appropriate duties as assigned by the department head/supervisor.

Job Requirements:
- Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and professional work ethic always, in all situations, and consistently leads by example while demonstrating enthusiasm for team building, and member and guest services.
- Must have the ability to balance multiple projects and have strong project and time management skills. Must possess high attention to detail.
- Must display an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take direction, and exercise good judgment. Must have the ability to reason and apply common-sense understanding to situations encountered.
- Must have a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills in order to communicate and work well with employees at all levels within the organization and maintain all information in the strictest of confidence. Must use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with their team; compose documents in the appropriate business style using correct grammar and spelling; communicate clearly using proper grammar and diction over the telephone.
- Reports to Department Director and Department Supervisors.
- The physical demands of this position are representative of those that might be met by an employee for them to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday and having the ability to transport 25 to 50 pounds.
Qualifications / Education:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in a program that is applicable for an internship.
- Must possess a valid form of identification compliant with I-9 regulations and/or Bellerive policy.
- Prior experience in an area of interest is preferred.
