Bellerive Country Club is seeking an outstanding FIeld House Server Assistant to join our team. The Field House Server Assistant will assist servers in providing excellent food and beverage service to members and guests of Bellerive Country Club. Carry out Bellerive standards and culture, while working in a fast-paced environment.

Bellerive Country Club is a private country club in St. Louis with over 500 members. Bellerive underwent a $19 million renovation in 2019/2020 that included a complete refurbishment of the 80,000 square feet clubhouse, the addition of a full-service casual dining facility and private event space, a fitness center, and a halfway house. Bellerive’s other amenities include a professionally staffed and nationally recognized, industry award-winning 18-hole championship golf course, which has hosted several professional golf championships and is scheduled to host the 2026 BMW Championship and 2030 Presidents Cup, a professionally staffed state-of-the-art racquets facility with clay and hard courts, pickleball courts, and paddle tennis courts, bocce courts, and an Olympic size swimming pool.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides water service table side within two (2) minutes of member arrival and continues to fill/refill throughout the duration of the shift.
- Promptly clears and resets all tables in adherence to Club standards.
- Polishes silverware as needed throughout service and ensures all have been polished before leaving at the end of shift.
- Ensures all side work tasks have been completed and signed off on by the closing server.
- Sweeps the floor under tables as needed, and/or as part of the table resetting process.
- Wipes down all tables, chairs, and booth cushions as part of the table resetting process.
- Staying present on the floor or around the pool continuously throughout a shift and being available to assist servers in all capacities as needed during service.
- Assist pool servers with anything they may need to service members/guests.
- Engaging in food/wine discussion during pre-shifts and having strong menu knowledge. Be able to answer all menu questions that might be asked by a member.
- Knowledge of all events happening throughout the club on a daily basis and be able to assist a member to a designated area if needed.
- Other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor, and other members of the Food & Beverage Department leadership team.
Qualifications / Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, or in pursuit thereof.
- One (1) year of previous restaurant experience is preferred.
