Part-Time, on call - flexibility available

Salary Range : $18-$22 hourly depending on experience

Be a Leader in Youth Development

The Athletics Assistant balances the load of both youth-facing and non-profit management work. When working in youth programs, our staff directly impacts the lives of our Club members by engaging in safe, interactive programs and learning experiences.

The role assists in being a referee for our basketball league, scorekeeper for volleyball and basketball, gym monitor, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Referee for our programs
• Assist with the planning and implementation of Club programs
• Monitor and participate in youth activities to create a safe and positive learning environment for all Club members.
• Build meaningful, positive relationships with youth and families
• Communicate professionally with Club members, parents, and staff
• Model positive behaviors for children and staff

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Demonstrated experience working with youth, parents / guardians, and community partners
• Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Must pass National Background Check
• Strong Organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation
• Basic knowledge of athletics

COVID INFORMATION :

All Club staff, volunteers, and anyone that enters the Club facilities will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

A person is considered fully-vaccinated two weeks after having all does of a vaccine (2 doses for Pfizer, Moderna; 1 dose for Johnson & Johnson).
