Arcade Assistant Lead

Summary/Objective: Supervise all Arcade Operator activities, overseeing operations and contributing to the training of Arcade and Lasertag operators. Collaborate with Leads and Supervisors to implement programs ensuring the safety and efficiency of Arcade and Lasertag functions. Manage organization of operator supplies and merchandise, and aid with Arcade or Lasertag fixes and projects.

What will you do:

Leadership and Supervision:

• Lead 2-4 on-duty shifts weekly, exhibiting strong leadership and setting a positive example.
• Provide clear and effective supervision and guidance to Arcade and Lasertag Operators.
• Collaborate closely with Leads and Supervisors to develop and implement comprehensive training programs, ensuring the team is well-prepared and knowledgeable.
• Proactively implement and enhance training programs, adapting them to the evolving needs of the team.
• Play a key role in updating employee availability in coordination with Supervisors, ensuring efficient scheduling and staffing.

Guest Service and Safety:

• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest service consistently.
• Oversee meticulous checks and documentation of safety decals, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency AED kits.
• Enforce high cleanliness standards in the Arcade and Lasertag areas, meticulously monitoring the use of cleaning supplies on all surfaces.

Operations Management:

• Coordinate seamlessly with Arcade Techs to maintain optimal efficiency and functionality of games and Lasertag equipment.
• Skillfully assign tasks to operators, emphasizing correctness and efficiency in their execution.
• Step in for relief duties when necessary, showcasing adaptability and a hands-on approach.
• Ensure the proper and safe operation of all Arcade and Lasertag areas in strict adherence to company policies and grooming standards.
• Display precision in reconciling cash drawers and managing daily deposits accurately.

Event Coordination and Documentation:

• Play a pivotal role in coordinating Group and Birthday Party check-ins, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
• Efficiently document all Arcade and Lasertag checklists, emphasizing attention to detail.
• Actively participate in the implementation of training programs, contributing to the continuous improvement of staff knowledge and skills.
• Keep the team informed about special events, promotions, and policy changes, fostering a well-informed and engaged workforce.

Inventory Management:

• Take charge of managing the restocking of merchandise and operational supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
• Collaborate in conducting regular inventories of necessary supplies for Arcade and Lasertag operators, including first aid supplies.
