Machine Operator

Beltservice Corporation has an immediate need in our St. Louis Headquarters for one full-time Waterjet Technician. This position is on 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.) and is a great opportunity for the right individual to become experienced in flash cutting operations. Candidates with experience in CNC, Waterjet, Atom, Laser, or Plasma Cutters are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Identify appropriate materials to be cut and computer cutting programs.
• Interpret order requirements and layout belts for proper cutting yields.
• Check all aspects of parts to make sure that they meet requirements of the order.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma(or equivalent).
• Consistent job or education history.
• Work experience with a cutting machine.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Proven experience in fabricating conveyor belt, or similar work with measuring, hand tools, and equipment.
• A mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Legally eligible for employment in this country.
