Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing medical administrative support and patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and has a strong knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments

- Take patient medical histories and record vital signs

- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies

- Assist with patient scheduling and front desk when necessary

- Assist with diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

- Must be fluent in Arabic and English

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus

- Experience in medical administrative support and patient service

- Proficiency in medication administration, including inhalation treatments

- Basic life support certification is required

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Brooklyn, NY 11209: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
