ENGLISH & READING TEACHER (SECONDARY)


Salaried Exempt: $55,000 - $65,000/year dependent on educ. and experience
Full time position – Monday through Friday

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Teach English and Reading classes to Grades 7-12 in a residential treatment setting
  • Design learning activities that will relate to students – grades 7 through 12
  • Monitor and maintain legal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Your qualifications/skills will include:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor; who thrives working with adolescent boys
  • The ability and interest to work with students at different grade and skill levels
  • Valid Secondary Utah Teaching Certification in English
  • Preference for a Special Education endorsement
  • Two years' teaching experience in general or special education populations preferred
