Benchmark Behavioral Healthcare is a premier outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinic that serves the Toledo metropolitan area. We are seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker to join our team. Benchmark is located in the heart of the city in our downtown area. Our services include general therapy, CPST, TBS, anxiety, depression therapy, and children's therapy services, as well as school-based services. Our therapists and case managers are part of a tight-knit team that cares about the community they serve. Our diverse practice has the ability to support clinicians throughout their careers.
This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Senior Management Team. This person will oversee the documentation of staff and sign off on all documents submitted for payment. You will ensure full regulatory compliance including, OhioMHAS, and CARF internal policies and protocols. Ensures compliance in direct client service, clinical record service documentation, clinical protocols, and quality and relevance of interventions. Works in collaboration with all departments to guarantee continuous quality improvement, reliable information, timely staff recruitment, professional licensed staff supervision, quality facility operation, efficient use of equipment and supplies, high level of safety, and appropriate security management information utilization and billing coordination. An Independent Licensure is required with Chemical Dependency Treatment within the scope of practice.
This position will be performed both on-site and remotely using audio/visual communications technology. However, onsite meetings and activities are required weekly.
Education/experience/licensing:
- Independently licensed in the State of Ohio as a Psychologist, Social Worker, or Mental Health Counselor.
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
- Experience in the mental health field.
- Supervisory privileges preferred.
- Previous experience providing psychological or closely related diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in working with children and their families.
- Prior work experience or training in a setting with ODMH, CARF, and/or Joint Commission accreditation.
