What you will have an opportunity to do: BASIC FUNCTION: In general, you’ll be creating rate plans, loading rates into the property management system and working with the revenue manager to boost occupancy and the average achieved room rate. You’ll also liaise with the rooms division manager to ensure that on the day occupancy is maximized. What are we looking for? ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Night Audit Processes Payments for Reservations High touch contact with customers-anticipate and response-readywhen changes needed and call guest, Add any fees (pet or cot fees) Guest Relations-Answers emails from prospective and securedguests from each communication vehicle. Train Staff on Maestro Responsible for office administration duties, Spruce Point Inn Memberships and processing of fees System Administrator: Shift4, Maestro, Onyx, SymQuest, Expedia, Booking.com Processes Travel Agent Commissions and office ledger administrative duties including blocks Group Booking Duties Prepare, oversee, and maintain group room blocks, master accounts in the property management system Set up billing patterns and ensure the accuracy of group billing and payments. Advise clients and internally on approaching group cut-off dates Read, retrieve, communicate, maintain accuracy and verify information including confirmation number to caller. Apply customer service principles to area information Handle complaints in a tactful manner and negotiate resolutions such as alternative accommodations when hotel is sold out. Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous hotel or resort Front Desk or Reservations experience preferred A strong desire to make an impact on other people An outgoing and engaging personality Computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced setting Benchmark Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
