Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in chemistry or biology with a strong background in laboratory procedures. Four years of college chemistry required.
Job assignments are ideal for learning automated water analyses using discrete analyzers, total organic carbon analyzers, ICP-MS and OES metals analyzers, gas chromatographs with MS detectors, and liquid ion chromatographs
Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures following standard protocols
- Ensure compliance with FDOH and FDEP regulations and maintain accurate records of all testing
- Utilize laboratory information management systems for data entry and analysis
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration within the team
