Correctional Foodservice Production Manager I is responsible for directing and organizing all food production activities related to purchasing and distribution. The duties for this position include, but are not limited too, supervising food storage, production and service programs, maintaining inventory system for food and supplies, and evaluating food preparation for nutrition, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Candidate will have a minimum of two years foodservice experience and a demonstrated ability to teach and supervise others. Preference may be given to those with an advanced culinary degree, or related field.
The position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack, and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.
