Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This position involves complex accounting tasks, financial analysis, and assisting with strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain general ledger integrity.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
