Summary:
The Coach position trains coworkers and monitors progress to defined training plans. Performs production work to maintain skill sets as required
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 1 year of work in area of coaching; Coach entry to mid-level production roles
- Monitors, tracks and schedules training to complete training checklists, including re-certifications
- Reviews weekly training process with trainee and provide feedback; Adjust plan as needed
- Provides production supervisor with documented weekly training status updates
- Performs on-going quality of processing audits
- Works with supervision and engineering to continuously improve the quality of the production training process
- Inspects 100% of the trainees work until Coach feels the trainee is proficient in their work
- Cross trains co-workers in various manufacturing operations as needed to meet production goals
- Performs operator duties defined in job specific role overview when not training
- Participates in training department scheduled meetings and refresher training sessions
- Leads by example; Support management policy, philosophy, and objectives

- Possess certification and/or completed Coach Certification Checklist
- Must successfully complete the BEI “Train the Trainer” class
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of electronics manufacturing experience
