We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our Data Exchange Business Intelligence team within the Product & Engineering organization. As a Data Analyst III, you will be responsible for defining, measuring, and analyzing our data exchange data assets to help Benefitfocus gain insights to drive our operation strategy. This person should have hands on experience with building business intelligence reports through an enterprise analysis service such as Power Bi or Tableau, writing SQL queries for data mining, an consulting with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will also possess project management experience to drive improvement initiatives established through the analysis of data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish process standards to promote compliance with World-Class Data.
Identify opportunities to improve our processes or technology to achieve increased efficiency and/or quality.
Track and report on daily, weekly, monthly and annual metrics as it relates to process initiatives.
Maintain collaborative listening posts with your community of practice (CoP) to promote bidirectional communication.
Measuring and monitoring process adherence across your CoP.
Manage process project deliverables for your CoP. - Develop and document processes for internal Benefitfocus teams.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal Benefitfocus teams.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Certifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent
5 Years of software production and/or delivery experience
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills: diplomatic, professional and composed
Power BI report building and dataset management - SQL writing and execution
Advanced Excel - Strong presentation skills
Must possess exemplary business and professional speaking/writing skills
Must be an analytical thinker with a passion for figuring things out; creative problem solving is key
Must be able to work across different departments with both internal and external customers
Ability to resolve conflict
Must possess the ability to understand and develop detailed process documents
Must operate well in an environment with unknowns
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Exemplary organizational skills required - Salesforce, JIRA, Microsoft PowerApps, and AWS Cloud experience a plus
