The Opportunity
Salesforce Systems Administrator acts as project manager for long-term projects, and the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Benetech’s Salesforce instance. The administrator proactively identifies, develops, and deploys new business processes while also ensuring the continued functioning of existing ones, and influencing the product roadmap. This position will work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, translating technical information into spoken and written communications that are easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD& sharing rules
- Oversees Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Manages Sandbox environment, deployment to production
- Proactively maintains the system, including security and release updates
- Manages a user support ticketing system
- Works with the manager to create and update the quarterly roadmap
- Manages and prioritizes Salesforce projects independently
- Trains new users and grows the Salesforce skill set across the organization
- Documents changes made in Salesforce
Required:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and at least 2-5 years of experience as a Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Administrator
- Experience in converting workflows and process builder automation of different complexities to flows
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to both management and end-users
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systems
- Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities are a plus
- Understanding of triggers/Apex code knowledge
- Dev/Ops release management experience
- Creating a project roadmap and communication to stakeholders
