In this dynamic role, you will form strategic partnerships with Product and Technology teams to guide the direction and evolution of our operating model, including the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), operational rhythms, enablement, and readiness for critical engagements such as client advisory boards, analyst relations, roadmap communications, and client consultations. As a leader in operational cross-functional leadership, you'll collaborate with various functional groups within Benevity, including Product Marketing, Client Services, Engineering, and Sales.
To join our growing team, we're currently looking for a Manager, Product Operations based in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto - we are also welcoming of candidates located throughout the US.
What you'll do:
- Partner with Product and Technology organizations to set strategy, direction and evolve our operating model: Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), operational rhythm, enablement, and readiness for key engagements such as client advisory boards, analyst relations, roadmap communications, and client consultations
- Conduct regular portfolio analysis and support the decision making process across Product and Engineering for all New Product Development efforts. This may include partnering in or coaching/mentoring with Product Managers and Engineers to help drive outcomes
- Operational Cross-Functional Leadership – working across Benevity's functional groups including Product Marketing, Client Services and Sales. You will champion Product launch and readiness programs alongside Product Managers to ensure that the products we take to market are ready for sale, implementation and support
- Accountable to create and maintain effective product management and delivery metrics and dashboards to provide insight about product adoption and usage, operational metrics (backlog health, sprint velocity, sprint reliability, defects), product release cadence, work in progress and sprint metrics with the Technology PMO
- UX Research and Client Experience – actively champion and partner with Product Design and other cross-functional leaders to support the adoption of Pendo measurement across the Product organization
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or equivalent
- 5-7 years' work experience in product on a SaaS or other software-led product in an agile B2B environment
- 5 years in leading progressively more complex teams and functions
- Expert in the discipline of product process excellence and learning
- Ability to earn the trust of highly technical engineering teams and product teams
- Experience in a mature and collaborative work environment
- Experience in a fast paced, SaaS environment
- Experience working with globally dispersed product and technology teams across multiple disciplines and time zones
