Position Summary:
- Receives, prepares, packages, serves and cleans up following grab-and-go or congregate meal programs.
Work Location: West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113
Work Hours: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
Work Days: Monday - Friday, 5 hours per day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following description is a general representation of the key duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Receives, counts and signs off on caterer's invoice;
- Cleans and maintains kitchen and equipment to meet food safety standards;
- Completes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required;
- Prepares and serves refreshments for participants as needed;
- Cleans and maintains participant dining room;
- Stores, heats and serves meals according to caterer's specification;
- Packages home delivered meals according to caterer's specification.
Qualifications:
Specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position including specific courses, training programs or required certifications. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position.
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
- Previous experience in food service;
- ServSafe certified (preferred)

This job operates in a kitchen and food service environment. This role routinely uses standard kitchen equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard and telephone;
- Light to moderate lifting is required, up to 25 pounds
- Exposed to kitchen environment conditions;
- Regular, predictable attendance is required;
- Moderate noise environment;
- Ability to work in a confined area;
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time;
- Work environment is stressful at times.
