Bennett Tool & Die LLC, a one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, located in Gallatin, Tennessee is searching for individuals who are interested in learning how to weld as welding trainees. In this position, you will learn to Mig weld, spot weld and robotic weld which is used in production welding. This position is for 2nd Shift. Starting pay is between $16.00 and $17.00 per hour. The desired candidate must have a willingness to learn and a good work ethic.

Second shift is: 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Mon thru Thur
Our 2nd shift earns a shift premium of $1.50 per hour and our Weekend shift earns a shift premium of 11.11%.

SUMMARY: A welding trainee will learn to operate welding machines that weld together and mass-produce component parts of fabricated metal products as specified by blue prints, learn to read and understand weld symbols, layouts, welding procedures or oral instructions. Join two pieces of metal to create a quality customer product using methods such as MIG welding, robot and spot weld. You will also learn to Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment. The more you learn and are proficient at, the more money you can make.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn to weld using all the the basic concepts taught by our in-house trainer which will allow you to produce quality parts for our customers
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
