POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and engaged leader to drive the success of our Project Management (PM) team within our Architectural Signs division. The Manager, Project Management (Hybrid) will oversee and lead the PM team to ensure all signage projects are executed on time with high client satisfaction in adherence with department processes.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Ensure Project Managers manage, plan, and coordinate activities of projects to make sure that objectives of projects are accomplished
Review project proposal with Project Managers to determine time frame, budget, plan of action, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources during various phases of projects
Actively collaborates with other department leaders to identify, develop and implement new or modified processes or other optimization efforts
Conduct a thorough root cause analysis when issues arise
Tracking compliance (critical success path, dates, data entry, job management in MIS) via dashboard audits and weekly meetings
Ensures team is compliant with department processes & procedures and have a clear understanding of project details from Relationship Directors
Head weekly manager meetings with Art and Production managers, while tracking and reporting to senior leadership when deliverables are not met as outlined
Utilize Pace to oversee projects and ensure deadlines are being met
Provide excellent customer service and always acting in their best interest
Create a climate of accountability, mutual trust, respect, and growth of every team member
Assist Benson Signs Director in establishing performance metrics and service levels withing the PM team
Assess training needs of the PM team while leading an ongoing coaching programs
Conduct quarterly performance reviews using the company employee incentive program
Perform other duties as assigned
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:
Excellent knowledge of signage processes from survey through installation
Strong project management and prioritization skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and able to “flex” when managing processes to ensure we don’t jeopardize deadlines or client satisfaction
Ability to effectively lead a team of project managers and provide clear expectations
Capable of delegating tasks, developing talent, and recommending additional staff members based on growth
Accountable for successful project delivery, monitoring, and maintaining team’s efficiency
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to estimate costs, and margins on products needed for projects
Positive, trustworthy, and able to maintain a friendly and productive work environment
Ability to communicate clearly to team members and clients regarding projects
Excellent problem-solving skills
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
PMP Certification
Work Experience:
Required, 5-10 years in project management
Minimum 3 years in signage related project management experience
Experience in leading a team of 5 employee
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working at a computer and sitting for long periods of time. (sitting, talking, hearing)
Vision abilities are required to proofread at close vision and confirm correct color and focus.
