What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Benson's Steakhouse?
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and mopping floors.
- Assist with food preparation and organization in the kitchen.
- Support other areas of the kitchen such as bussing tables and helping with food service.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic cooking techniques is a plus.
- Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is beneficial.
- Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a team in the hospitality industry.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
