Accounting Systems Management:

• Maintain and oversee a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.

Leadership:

• Direct and mentor a team of 5 employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in accounting practices.

Strategic Business Partnership:

• Actively collaborate with various departments, aligning accounting functions with broader business objectives and providing strategic financial insights.

Department Oversight:

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure to achieve goals and objectives efficiently.

Subsidiary Oversight:

• Supervise accounting operations of subsidiary companies, focusing on robust control systems, transaction-processing operations, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Financial Management

• Ensure timely payments and efficient handling of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Conduct regular financial assessments, including bank reconciliations and debt payment monitoring.
• Maintain a detailed chart of accounts and an organized accounting filing system.
• Establish and uphold a comprehensive system of controls over accounting transactions.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Issue timely and comprehensive financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report and manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide critical financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor budget variances, report significant issues, and develop performance benchmarks.
• Manage Work in Progress reporting and ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax filing requirements.

Audit and Compliance:

• Facilitate the annual audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
• Monitor debt levels and ensure compliance with debt covenants.
