Loan Servicing Manager

A mortgage loan servicing manager sets goals and creates policies and procedures that other members of the department need to follow.

• Responsible for solving any problems that arise during the lending process.
• Manage the loan servicing department.
• Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the servicing and collections process.
• Ensure staff is providing adequate Client / Investor services, follow lending regulations, and meet weekly goals.
• Weekly communication and status meeting with Title Company. Prepare legal update reports for discussion with upper management.
• Manage servicing and draws for construction loans.
• Collection calls, emails and follow up. Follow developed collection policy and procedures.
• Responsible for weekly updates from legal team regarding bankruptcies and/or foreclosure files. Reported to upper management weekly.
• Weekly management and staff collection and property insurance meetings
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
• Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow
• Manage relationships with key operations entities
• Communicate customer / investor issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
• Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
• Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
• Pipeline management
• Manage IT issues with IT provider

Required Education and Skills

• A degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Business
• Management skills, and knowledge of mortgage regulations.
• Bilingual English / Spanish
• 5 years minimum of experience as a Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager
