Beowulf Industrial Sewing is hiring! We are looking for skilled sewers with commercial experience in upholstery/industrial/large textile sewing. If you are happy working in a fun, fast-paced, warehouse environment and are skilled in working with your hands, we want to talk to you! We manufacture a variety of large and small textiles, ranging from yurt coverings to upholstery. Pay is based on experience and ability to show aptitude of work. Tons of room for growth! Full time preferred, but willing to work with the right candidate. Come and join this small crew of creative individuals and be a part of this rapidly growing company!!

Responsibilities

  • Performing setup of sewing machines including winding bobbins, threading machines, adjusting machine speeds, and adjusting tension.
  • Sewing a large variety of materials on different machines at a commercial level.
  • Feeding raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
  • Checking output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws, and addressing them as necessary.

  • Proven experience as a sewer
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear)

  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina and strength

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
