We have a current opportunity for a User Support person in our IT Department
Minimum Qualifications
3-4 years experience in a Desktop Support role
Firsthand experience in a corporate environment with the following technologies/products:
Windows 10
Microsoft Office Suites
Basic LAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting with client computers and laptops.
Stand-alone and networked printer troubleshooting and repair
Desktop/Laptop hardware repair
Data cabling installation
Must have CompTIA A certification
CompTIA Network certification preferred
Position Requirements
- Respond to telephone calls, email and user requests for tier 1 technical support for 400 user base.
- Analyze and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating systems, application software, printers and PC LAN connectivity
- Performs a wide variety of tasks in software/hardware maintenance and operational support of client systems
- Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Install network cabling as needed
- Create/Maintain technical and procedural documentation
- Adhere to company procedures
- Ability to work assigned tickets to resolution and projects as assigned
Personal Effectiveness:
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have ability to work within a team environment to achieve shared goals. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively are essential.
