Position Title: Golf Club Food & Beverage Manager

Job Summary:

The F&B Manager is responsible for the overall performance of all F&B staff and the duties each staff member performs at the Club. Must oversee these duties and assure the execution of these duties reflects the highest standards possible. The F&B Manager must communicate with members on a consistent basis to gain feedback about their experience and look for ways to improve the experience. Maintains a high standard of appearance, hospitality, and the service of all staff, as well as the cleanliness and appearance of the F&B service areas. This is accomplished by supervision of the dining room, training of all staff, and follow-up. This person must manage within budgetary constraints, as well as help develop and implement programs to increase sales. Must complete all managerial duties, including knowledge of POS system, inventory, scheduling, disciplining, payroll and supervision of all revenues and meal periods. The F&B Manager must collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure all standards and regulations are followed and met to complete satisfactory inspections to include but not limited to Federal, State, and County.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Berkeley Hills Country Club General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

* Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.

* Lead and manage the F&B team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed.

* Handle guest/team members concerns and react quickly and professionally.

* Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

* Maintain inventory levels and ensure that all supplies are available for daily operation.

* Produce Food and beverage schedules on a timely manner guided by forecasted level of business.

* Conduct trainings and test to ensure staff is knowledgeable about policies, standards and menu offerings.

* Ensure all safety and sanitation policies are followed when handling food & beverage

* Other duties as assigned.

Shift: Flexible

Day(s) Required: FLEXIBLE including Holidays and Weekends

Anticipated Start Date: Two (2) weeks from date of job offer

Minimum Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED

* 4 years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or hospitality area.

* Position requires full schedule flexibility, ability to work weekends, holidays and a varied schedule.

* Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

* Current food handler certification.

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to stand/walk/step for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to work in different conditions included but not limited to hot, cold, indoor, outdoor, rain and wind.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
