Responsibilities
The IT Contract and Vendor Management Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the IT Contract and Vendor management function for the company. This includes supporting and coordinating with business process owners through the vendor selection and onboarding process as well as doing risk-based due diligence for existing vendors. This position will review current vendor management procedures to explore improvements in process efficiencies and controls.
- Manages the life-cycle of contracts from intake to execution.
- Maintain status of risk assessments, contractual agreements, and contract expiration/renewals for all IT vendors.
- Negotiates contracts in an ongoing effort to achieve cost savings/cost avoidance.
- Familiarity with various contract types including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, etc.
- Coordinates vendor Proof of Concept (POC) efforts with IT Enterprise Architecture, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Administers the IT vendor management software (Archer).
- Conducts ongoing vendor due diligence.
- Reviews the IT vendor management process and explores improvements in process efficiencies and controls.
- Researches and incorporates industry IT vendor management best practices with organizational practices.
- Works with IT and business teams to review potential vendors and may assist with Requests for Proposal (RFP) / Requests for Information (RFI)
- Collects and reviews vendor information and manages input from key stakeholders and relationship managers.
- Works with Third Party Risk Management team to ensure completion of Information Security due diligence.
- Works with Corporate Legal to ensure completion of contract review and due diligence.
- Produces and distributes management reports for IT vendor management.
- Maintains the IT vendor management database.
- Audits the IT vendor database periodically to measure and report on data integrity and compliance.
- Position will require travel of up to 10%
Qualifications
- 3 years in an IT Contract and Vendor Management Analyst role
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with working with vendors and vendor contracts
- Experience with an IT vendor management tool required, RSA Archer experience a plus.
- Experience in successfully implementing Strategic IT Vendor Management processes.
- Solid knowledge of large IT vendor agreements, including Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
