Client Service Representative - PART TIME

As a Client Services Representative, you will…

• Check-in and check-out clients
• Schedule client appointments
• Confirm client appointments
• Collection cash receipts
• Organize and maintain paper and electronic files, 
• Process initial intake paperwork
• Provide information to callers
• Be required to wear scrubs

Requirements

To qualify for the position, you will need to have…

• A High school diploma or GED
• One (1) year of office experience in healthcare field
• Instead of experience, must have Medical Secretary/Medical Billing certificate
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work 20 hours per week
• Ability to work 3pm – 8pm Monday-Thursday, rotating Friday/Saturday 8am-4pm.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see well enough to read reports and use computer.
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers. 
• Must have mobility to move about the agency.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to write, type, and use technology.

Preferred candidates will …

• Be bilingual: able to speak, read, and write Spanish and English
• Have customer service experience
• Have knowledge of or experience with trauma-informed approaches preferred.

• Receipt of results of a satisfactory drug and alcohol screening test. 
• Receipt of the originals of the following background checks: PA State Police Criminal History, PA State Child Abuse, and DPW FBI Criminal History. These clearances must be valid within the 60 months prior to employment. A conviction is not a bar to employment; however, a review will be conducted to make a determination of employment should a conviction be present.
• Receipt of original documentation and verification of relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates, or licensure.
• Confirmation that you are not on the OIG Federal Healthcare Program Exclusion from Participation list. Should you appear on this list, Berks Counseling Center is prohibited from employing you.
