Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Support Staff employee is responsible for processing COVID vaccination information. Generally, the process includes transferring student and employee information from the College's vaccine submission system (Excel export) to a Microsoft Teams Excel spreadsheet, then manually entering the export data into the College's information management system. This position will also support communication timelines and outlets for collecting student and college information needed. The Support Staff employee will be required to work both in-person and virtual work hours with flexible time-of-day scheduling.
This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited data collection/data entry support position in response to the Massachusetts COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate. The work schedule is approximately 6-10 hours per week for approximately 12 weeks beginning November 1, 2021.
Duties:
Reviews Excel spreadsheet and export data from Formstack into college database systems;
Checks for accuracy and completeness of information provided;
Documents and communicates any entries to troubleshoot for additional information required;
Exports information received into Excel spreadsheet in Microsoft Teams and creates data reports for weekly submission updates or as requested;
Manually enters COVID vaccination information into the information management system (Colleague);
Collaborates with Allied Health program to receive student vaccination information;
Collaborates with Workforce Development Directors and HR to receive vaccination information;
Works with other areas of campus to gather and share information as requested;
Maintains accurate and up-to-date reports of student and employee COVID-19 vaccination status within the State guidelines and Community College policies;
Collaborates with the office of Student Engagement on student communication and communication planning;
Processes additional paperwork in connection to vaccine information as requested;
Requires access to college database systems and form applications.
Requirements:
Associate degree preferred;
Professional office work setting experience;
Access to computer and internet or ability to come to campus to perform duties;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Need to use computer software, database programs and excel files;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Ability to work flexible hours the week between Christmas and New Year's Day;
Ability to work with confidential and times sensitive materials.

Salary: $17.79 per hour; part-time; non-benefited; temporary;
Position Dates: November 1, 2021 - February 7, 2022
Contract Extension: No expectations of continuation past February 7, 2022.
