- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONSThe Director of Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and managing the health system's services within an assigned area in order to support the achievement of Berkshire Health System’s mission, strategies and operating plans.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Seven years of increasingly responsible experience in physician practice management is required.
- Three years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity in physician practice management is required.
- Primary care physician practice management experience is preferred.
- Education and Training:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- License, Certification & Registration:
- Other Requirements:
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with persons throughout all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to link and apply complex technologies to business strategies.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
- Strong business and financial acumen with a sense of urgency.
