As the Sales Representative for Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing (BSM), you will be instrumental in driving our sales objectives and initiatives. You will execute short- and long-term sales strategies, identifying opportunities for product or service enhancements to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales potential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build Market Position: Identify, develop, negotiate, and close business relationships to strengthen BSM's market position.
  • Prospect for Sales: Contact potential leads, explore opportunities, and propose potential sales to drive growth.
  • Build Relationships: Expand personal industry contacts, establish key relationships with decision-makers, and communicate with mid-level positions within customer organizations.
  • Promote the Company: Maintain long-term commitments with customers, strategically positioning new solutions and products, and stay informed about emerging technology and trends.
  • Build Personal Credibility: Operate with high professional standards, aligning with the company's principles, and continuously enhance understanding of BSM's aseptic capabilities.
  • Create Price Proposals: Develop price proposals and secure customer acceptance, including purchase orders and signed quotes.
  • Host Client Visits: Arrange and host client site visits at BSM's facility in Lee, MA.
  • Meet Daily Metrics: Achieve daily metrics for calls, visits, quoting, and purchase order collection, and participate in weekly progress meetings.
  • Regulatory Responsibilities: Conduct business in compliance with state, FDA, EU, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of pharmaceutical industry-related experience in a sales capacity.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and travel schedules.
  • Self-assured and competent in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time and have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Able to lift up to 10 lbs.

Pay: $53,979.39 - $65,007.44 per year
