Job Description

Berman Subaru of Chicago is seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Automotive Loan Processors to join our finance team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing loan applications, coordinating with lenders, and ensuring a smooth financing process for our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. 

Job Title: Administrative Loan Processor
Location: Berman Subaru of Chicago
Pay: $20/HR
Schedule: Monday-Saturday (2 days off; work schedule below) 

2 Shifts: 9:00AM-8:00PM
1 Shift:12:00PM-8:00PM
1 Shift: 9:00AM-3:00PM
Saturdays: 9:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Review and process loan applications submitted by customers
• Verify applicant information and credit history
• Communicate with applicants to gather additional documentation as needed
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation
• Coordinate with lenders to secure loan approval and funding
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries from customers and banks
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in automotive financing, loan processing, or a finance-related role strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of lending practices, financial principles, and regulatory requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment and collaborate with team members
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with discretion
