Bermex, Inc.Bermex has immediate openings for meter readers around the Marietta, OH area. The job involves reading and recording utility meters on established routes in all weather conditions. Meter Reader will be tasked with reading water meters per month, this is a fast-paced position that will require you to work in all kinds of weather conditions. This position works in a team environment, meter readers will be expected to work as a team to complete all meter reads assigned and help out team members as needed. No experience necessary, will train.
We offer:

- Starting salary is $15.50 per hour.
Physical and environmental characteristics:
- Examples of Required Activities: stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and pull on a regular basis.
- Must be able to use a hand water pump, tools, and other equipment as necessary to fulfill the position.
- Requires extensive walking up to 10 miles per day, carrying a handheld device at all times, coming in contact with insects, dogs, cats, snakes and other animals on a daily basis.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug test.
- Must have a valid driver's license
