Electrical Subcode Official/Inspector (Full-Time) – Bernards Township, Somerset County - Must have ability to inspect and evaluate electrical work in new construction projects as well as existing buildings undergoing work. Ability to review and approve applications and plans for proposed structures to ensure conformity with State Uniform Construction Code regulations and electrical sub codes. Must have ability to use firmness and tact in enforcing electrical regulations while maintaining good working relationships with contractors. Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records. Must possess a valid appropriate Electrical Sub Code Official and Inspector license issued by the State of NJ. Must hold HHS level license or obtain HHS level license within 12 months of appointment.
