Essential Functions

• Performs landscape installation functions (e.g., layout, planting, grading, hardscape, irrigation, drainage, horticulture)
• Use hand tools (e.g., pick, shovel, grading rakes), complex tools (e.g., wire tracker/transit), and construction equipment (e.g., backhoes, trenchers, loaders) properly
• Completes assignments within labor goals while ensuring all job quality performance expectations are met in accordance with company standards
• Thinks ahead and completes tasks efficiently within budget, production rates, and timelines
• Interprets all aspects of landscape plans and specifications

Qualifications

• Chauffeurs License or ability to obtain before first day of employment
• Ability to pull trailer
• 2 years of landscaping installation experience
• Must be able to lead team and communicate with clients as needed.
• Ability to read plans and blueprints
• Must know how to use basic landscape and relevant tools
• Knowledge of seasonal clean-ups, garden bed care, annual flower plantings, bed edging, and mulching
• Must be able to follow direction
• Must be able to work both independently and in team environment
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Be willing to learn
• Ability to move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
