Reporting to the Head Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Coach, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the organization, supervision, and administration of an NCAA Division III intercollegiate swim & dive program.
The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education and the mission of Division III athletics.
The candidate will also possess an appreciation for, commitment to, and adherence to all NCAA, Southern Athletic Association (SAA), and institutional rules and regulations.
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, daily operations, practice planning, coaching, scouting, player development, meet management, equipment management, marketing, alumni relations, community service coordinating, event planning, travel logistics, and a commitment to ensuring the academic progress and degree completion of the student-athletes.
In addition to coaching responsibilities, the candidates will also be assigned corollary responsibilities in aquatics.
Corollary Responsibilities assisting the Aquatics Director. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to overseeing the hiring and supervision of lifeguards, ensuring proper pool management and safety protocols, coordinating swim lessons and programming, and obtaining CPO certification.
Additional Information : This is a 10-month position as an assistant men's and women's swim & dive coach with additional responsibilities to be assigned in aquatics.

Lifeguard certification is required at the time of hire or within three months. Proficient with Hy-Tech and Colorado Timing Systems preferred.
