We're looking for a friendly and reliable Room Attendant to join our team to provide excellent customer service.
Room Attendants serve as a representative of our company and must display courtesy, respect, tact and discretion in all interactions with other employees, vacation owners, guests and members of the local community. Must work in a clean professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Remove and collect linens for laundering and transport to designated areas. Replace linen/make beds
- Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Empty wastebaskets and clean them inside and out
- Clean tiled floors with the use of brooms and mops
- Use chemical-based products to clean tubs, sinks, countertops, mirrors, toilets, door panels and shower curtains
- Replenish trash bags, soaps, bathroom items and other supplies
- Transport all trash and waste to disposal areas, as instructed
- Remove items from refrigerator, stove and microwave
- Clean refrigerator, stove, microwave and any additional appliances inside and out
- Load and unload dishes from dishwasher, dry dishes, put them away
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Respond to and take appropriate action to resolve concerns of guests
- Keep supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron concerns, accidents, emergency situations, damages and potential safety hazards
- Attend departmental and team meetings as well as participate in all additional training courses
- Perform all duties in a safe manner
- Employees may be asked to move to different locations or job assignments within the property, as needed
- Other tasks/duties may be assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Must be able to lift and carry 30-pound loads
- Must be able to tolerate working with cleaning chemicals and dirt/dust
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to climb multiple sets of stairs
Requirements:
- Must have Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work weekends, and holiday
