Purpose:
The IT Workflow Process Automation Developer is responsible for the development, implementation, support, and ongoing continuous improvement of workflow automations for Berry Global’s multiple divisions and departments, focusing on the use of Nintex, K2, Power Apps & Automation Anywhere Development tools.
Responsibilities
Assist with leading and to accelerate innovation with design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, commissioning, training and support of workflow application solutions building with Nintex, K2, Power Apps & Automation Anywhere and promote and ensure best practices are followed.
Design functional specifications and develop and implement project customizations and configurations based on the business requirements, timing and goals.
Provide first level support of production workflow and robotic process automation applications and systems and work with our internal team on new requests for evaluation and review.
Continually work to identify improvements across all process automation applications and systems.
Provide support as we continue to deploy our Process Automation Center of Excellence across Berry’s divisions and departments to grow and provide support for our Citizen Developers.
Coordinate with users to plan user acceptance testing and deployment of completed applications.
Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives
Develops and maintains documentation of IT systems and applications within functional area of responsibility and coordinates incorporation of documentation within applications
Qualifications
Required:
BS. degree in Business, Computer Science or 3 years equivalent experience required.
Highly motivated to build a thorough knowledge of user functions.
Ability to work individually and across functional teams.
Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communications skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all levels of the business.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement
Driven to continue technology and business education.
Desired
Proficient in workflow application development using Nintex and/or K2 workflow tools.
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Power Apps.
Knowledge and understanding of Robotic Process Automation and Workflow Automation.
Microsoft Office Productivity tools experience, Word/Excel/Access/Visio
MSSQL / database setup knowledge and experience
SharePoint Online knowledge and experience
Base front-end knowledge (HTML / CSS)
JavaScript knowledge & experience
Familiarity with webservices / REST API
