EXTRUSION OPERATOR Pay: $16.50 $1.00/per hour shift diff = $17.50/hr
SCHEDULE
- 12 hour night shift
- 7pm – 7am / 2 days on 3 off/rotating
- Overtime
The Packer assists in setting up and operating thermoplastic extruders and associated production equipment to convert plastic resins into blown film for flexible plastic sheeting, tubing or bags. Performs manufacturing operations which will result in efficiently producing a flexible product on a timely basis that meets all the customer's product specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pack items securely and efficiently according to company standards
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of packed items
- Operate packing machinery and equipment
- Load and unload products from trucks or containers
- Stock inventory in designated storage areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate packing machinery and equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory stock
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
