PURPOSE:
- The Plant Director is directly responsible for a multi-line, multi-product production facility. Managing all aspects of the Statesville operation, to achieve the objectives tor this location and support the objectives of the company, including the annual budget and Five-Year Plan.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Operations Plan for the Statesville location to support the company budget and plan.
- Develop the Statesville plant budget, including capital requirements /performance improvement planning, and manage to meet budget.
- Develop an interdependent culture where associates work to protect the safety of themselves and all who enter the plant, including reducing risks through the hierarchy of controls.
- Coordinate the Statesville plant operation with other areas including Sales/Marketing, Logistics and Material Management, Customer Service, other plans and technology
- Supervise/Direct plant leadership team, to include Process Engineer, Operations Manager, Quality Manager, and others.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Field or demonstrated capability and experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience in plant management.
