Responsibilities
- Utilize preventative maintenance schedule from Maintenance Management program to schedule and perform machinery lubrication and repairs.
- Checks production machinery daily for visual, audible and other signs of malfunction or failure.
- Immediately corrects minor problems without interrupting production as needed
- Assists production personnel with mechanical problems.
- Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on gear drives, vacuum pumps, clutch/brake assemblies etc., as required.
- Maintains building utility equipment such as air compressors, water chillers, and air conditioners at optimum efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong Mechanical background required. Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Position is a 12 hour shift position with a unique schedule.
