Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and direct quality control program to ensure the continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Responsible for developing and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of the finished product.
Responsible for using data from various reports to analyze quality problems and create corrective action plans that improve product quality.
Responsible for continuously monitoring the top ten quality problems and continuously coordinates the corrective action plans to eliminate the problems.
Responsible for monitoring the quality of incoming raw materials.
Responsible for product safety and act as plant sanitarian.
Responsible for performing audits of the manufacturing facility and product safety system to insure compliance with A.S.I. sanitation guidelines and F.D.A. Good Manufacturing procedures.
Responsible for developing and auditing systems for production and waste reporting and analyzing plant waste on a monthly basis.
Responsible for using statistical methods for analysis and provide plans for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Responsible for working directly with customers on quality issues, answering customer complaints and developing corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
Responsible for formulating and maintaining quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the other plant supervisors and managers to maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
Responsible for working with the Letica Corporation Technical Center to assure the quality and schedule quality improvements.
Responsible for directing employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products.
Responsible for investigating and adjusting customer complaints.
Responsible for making suggestions on what the plant needs to change to stop similar complaints.
Responsible for entering data, reading and interpreting a spread sheet.
Responsible for safety and housekeeping for department.
Responsible for Management of the plant wide quality assurance program and its documentation control of overall quality in the plant.
Responsible for continuous improvement program for the quality system to upgrade product and process quality to include the SPC program.
Responsible for raw material vendor quality assurance to include liaison with vendors for resolution of quality issues, issuance of DMRS, and follow-up to insure credits are issued for all reject materials.
Responsible for incoming raw material inspection and testing for conformance to specifications.
Responsible for the administration of government contract requirements for all products produced for the government.
Responsible for certification of all gauges, maintenance of certification program.
Responsible for overseeing adherence to government contract requirements of all products produced for the government.
Responsible for acting as contact person for all government inspections.
Responsible for facilitating the quality circle and task force program at the plant level.
Responsible for acting as counselor on methods for problem solving.
Responsible for disposing all materials which have been held for Q.C. inspection and review with Plant Manager decisions to scrap product and prevent the shipment of defective material.
Responsible for acting as contact person for all regulatory inspections relating to safety.
Responsible for facilitating Lock out / Tag out program and Hazard Communication Program.
Responsible for plant wide Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Program (H.A.C.C.P.) and its functions plant wide.
Responsible for ensuring shipment of Sample Quality Products to Customer as requested.
Responsible for control of the print retain system for the press area.
Responsible for plant wide material specifications and updating as required.
Hire, train, develop, and supervise of QA technicians such that quality standards are uniformly applied and documentation is completed.
Manage employees engaged in the inspection of the product during all phases of production.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all quality control and quality related issues.
Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
5 years managergial experience
BA in related field
SQF Certified
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, or governmental regulations.
Respond to common complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Understand spreadsheets, charts and technical manuals; Good phone skills required.
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability, and statistical inference.
Know the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Apply concepts such as fractions, percentage, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
