Primary job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- $1.50/hr Night Shift Differential
- Eligible for Profit Sharing Bonuses
- Report to front line leadership.
- Promote a Safe & Productive team work environment
- Communicates and cooperates with other employees in a positive and constructive manner to achieve the goals of the department and the plant.
- Communicate issues & upcoming events between shifts
- Inspects and tests raw materials and plastic products following documented plant specifications.
- Usage of measuring instruments and test equipment.
- Examines surface of products for cosmetic defects, such as scratches, burns and discolorations.
- In-process inspections on current production
- Auditing of finished goods
- Reporting all test & inspection results within Shop Floor software
- Document, isolate and report non-conformances within production to front line leadership.
- Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning as assigned/required
- Uphold Safety Absolutes
- Work & perform to ISO standards, SOPs & Work Instructions
- Uphold Quality Standards & follow the Absolutes.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
- Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Some computer skills
- Capable of lifting up to 35lbs periodically
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Bump Cap or Hard Hat, Safety Eyewear or Prescription
- Safety Eyewear, Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection and Disposable Mask.
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime.
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Negative drug screen results.
- Work in a safe manner
- Ability to multi-task
