To work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager / ISO Coordinator and facilitate daily quality functions. Ensure procedures are followed and product testing is performed in a
manner that will enhance the delivery of quality product to the customer.
Qualifications:

High School graduation or its equivalent required.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or relevant version required.

Certification as an internal auditor, preferred.

Detailed oriented

Experience with lab testing, preferred.

Quality Control or Production experience with extrusion, flexographic printing, and/or converting processes.

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred.

Ability to do functional math, ability to perform and understand basic statistics calculation, preferred.

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities:

Check production processes for quality concerns.

Supervisor & coordinate inspection activities of QA Technicians to ensure all production lines are covered.

Compile and review work order documentation packets.
-
Place on hold non-conforming finished product and coordinate recheck and disposition.
-
Maintain test equipment in accordance with set standards. Ensure calibrated according to calibration schedule.
-
Test in process, finished, and return products as requested.
- Assist in developing procedures and acceptance limits.

Prepare Certificate of Analysis including reviewing production work orders, completing lab testing and submitting paperwork and samples to R&D lab.

Ensure all QA technicians follow the retention sample program.

Review finished product on hold status and ensure disposition is provided in a timely manner.

Perform weekly hygiene observation audits in accordance to SQF System Elements Manufacture of Food Packaging.

Fully support SQF and be familiar with the code and its elements.
- Support QA Manager in preparation of audits and be proficient with HACCP.
