Job Title: Certified Nissan Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Nissan Technician to join our team. As a certified Nissan Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on Nissan vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, relevant certification, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers a competitive flat rate hourly wage ranging from $25 to $50, depending on experience and expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on Nissan vehicles to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Troubleshoot and repair complex automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and systems to accurately diagnose and resolve vehicle issues
- Follow manufacturer's guidelines and procedures to complete repairs and ensure compliance with warranty specifications
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all labor, parts, and time spent on each service request
- Collaborate with the service advisors to communicate repair status, provide estimates, and obtain necessary approvals
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and Nissan product knowledge to enhance technical skills and stay informed about new models and features
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Nissan certification or equivalent ASE certifications preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive repair experience, preferably specializing in Nissan vehicles
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and other automotive technology
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
