Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)Job Summary:The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care in a critical care setting. They work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ICU.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.2. Monitor and assess patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.3. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.4. Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.5. Educate patients and their families on the treatment plan and post-discharge care.6. Ensure adherence to infection control practices and safety protocols.7. Document patient care activities accurately and timely.8. Assist with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and ventilator management.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.2. BLS and ACLS certification.3.
