Job Title: Registered Nurse Critical Care (CCU)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care (CCU) to provide exceptional care to patients in our healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality healthcare services to critically ill or unstable patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. As a CCU nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-pressure environment, delivering evidence-based care to those requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.Responsibilities and Duties:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill or unstable patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions.- Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions, including managing complex medical equipment and administering medications.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as physicians, specialists, and respiratory therapists, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.- Monitor, interpret, and respond to patients' vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic information to ensure timely intervention and mitigate potential complications.- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain complete medical records as per hospital policies and regulatory requirements.- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care management to promote long-term health and wellness.- Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and emotional support.- Maintain a high level of competence and stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices, guidelines, and medical advancements in critical care nursing.- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and infection control measures to ensure patient safety and uphold professional standards.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid RN license in the state of employment.- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.- Exceptional clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.- Proficient in operating advanced medical equipment and computer systems.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and prioritize patient care needs.- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.#RegisteredNurse #CriticalCare #CCUNurse #NursingJobs #HealthcareCareers #RNJobs #PatientCare #USJobs #MedicalField #HealthcareProfessionals #IntensiveCareUnit #HealthcareWorkers #CriticalThinking #NursingSkills #NursingEducation
