Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med SurgJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. As an integral member of the healthcare team, you will provide personalized patient care and ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and progress.2. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.3. Evaluate and revise nursing care plans based on patient responses and outcomes.10. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.11. Assist in the coordination of patient transfers and discharges.12. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.13. Stay updated with advancements in nursing practices and technologies.14. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.15. Adhere to ethical codes and guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license issued by the state board of nursing.2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.3. Proven experience as a Med Surg Nurse.4. Knowledge of medical instruments and equipment.5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.7. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.8. Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients.9. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.10. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.11. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.12.
