Job Title: Surgical Services Scrub Tech (Operating Room)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Services Scrub Tech to join our dynamic team in the operating room. As a Scrub Tech, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and the surgical team during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care. Your precise attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team will contribute to successful surgical outcomes.Responsibilities and Duties:- Prepare the operating room by arranging surgical equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies to ensure readiness for procedures- Assist the surgical team in donning sterile gowns and gloves- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other team members during procedures, providing the appropriate instruments and supplies promptly- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure, ensuring all protocols and infection control measures are strictly adhered to- Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth flow of procedures and efficient patient care- Handle specimens with utmost care and ensure accurate documentation- Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety- Provide post-surgical care to patients, including wound dressing and monitoring vital signs- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines, including proper disposal of hazardous wasteQualifications and Skills:- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Surgical Technologist program strongly preferred- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) is highly desired- Proven experience as a Surgical Services Scrub Tech or similar role in an operating room setting- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and supplies- Proficient in maintaining a sterile field and strict adherence to infection control protocols- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Attention to detail and manual dexterity- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and occasional weekends or holidaysHashtags:#SurgicalServices #ScrubTech #OperatingRoomTech #OperatingRoomJobs #SurgeryTech #SurgicalTechnologist #USJobs #HealthcareCareers #OperatingRoom #HealthcareProfessions #SterileTechnician #SurgicalProcedures #SurgicalInstruments #PatientCare #MedicalJobs #HealthcareIndustry
